Keeping this in mind, Devendra Ilakkiya Mandram provides financial assistance (Annually upto Rs.10000) to fatherless and financially challenged children annually providing up to the completion of their postgraduation education. In addition to that, it is engaged in social work to select students who can study well and make them a group to monitor and assist them and make progress in their lives through evening schools.

தந்தை - தாய் இழந்த மற்றும் நிதி நிலமையில் பின்தங்கியுள்ள அனைத்து சமுதாய பள்ளி கல்லூரி மாணவர்கள் ஆண்டுதோறும் ரூ.10000/- வரை கல்வி நிதி உதவி பெற கிழே குறிப்பிட்டுள்ள விண்ணப்ப படிவத்தை பூர்த்தி செய்து, தந்தை - தாயின் இறப்புச் சான்றிதழ், மாணவர்களின் ஜாதி சான்றிதழ், பள்ளி - கல்லூரியில் படித்துக் கொண்டு இருப்பதற்கான மதிப்பெண் பட்டியல், கடைசியாக செலுத்திய கல்விக் கட்டண ரசீது நகல், பாஸ்போர்ட் அளவு புகைப்படம், தந்தை நோய்வாய்ப்பட்டிருந்தால் அதற்கான மருத்துவசான்றுகள் ஆகியவற்றை ஆன்லைனில் அனுப்ப வேண்டும்.
